Firms Struggle to Gather, Manage, Secure All Your Data
People really don't mind sharing some of their personal information with companies as long as they get something in return, they use it properly and the biggie they keep it sorta, kinda safe and they don't share (sell or rent) it with everyone in the food chain. Big Data is so much information - in so many different places - companies don't have an idea of what they really have or what to do with it. Marketing today is working on personalized messaging - which loosely means sending messages to a group of folks that are more or less alike. That's not the answer! We need to deliver personal messages, not personalized...big difference.
