the pioneer of digital knowledge technology, announced that it will
present its WellLine
application at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), May 6-9, at NRG
Park in Houston, Texas.
At this premier energy event, Jeff Dalgliesh, Maana’s Director of Oil
Field Digital Transformation, will present a paper titled ‘AI-Driven
Well Timelines for Well Optimization,’ highlighting Maana’s research
behind the latest cognitive innovations to optimize offshore operations.
The paper explores how artificial intelligence and machine learning are
used to digitally re-construct well histories, using both public and
company-specific historical well data.
WellLine generates a digital knowledge layer of wells on Microsoft Azure
and provides an intelligent timeline of significant well events from all
phases of well operations such as drilling, production, completions,
workovers, and plug and abandonments.
“The Offshore Technology Conference provides a great platform for
sharing knowledge and innovations in the oil and gas industry. Maana in
collaboration with Microsoft provides customers with a Digital Knowledge
Layer of Wells on Azure using siloed, historical data,” said Dalgliesh.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to attend and present at
this year’s conference.”
Celebrating 50 years, OTC’s flagship conference attracts energy experts
