Reviews about OpManager

OpManager
– A Must Have Tool In Your Infrastructure:
Overall,
it is a very good product for the price. Most other good monitoring
software is a subscription based model, so for our organization, the
upfront cost plus the YOY support costs were much more doable. The
interface is easy enough to use for my admins and it mostly covers all
the bases our last product did. The thing I like the most is the
interface, as well as the segmentation of various objects. The interface
is easy enough to use, but you can also get great depth out of the
initial dashboards and graphs you’re presented with.”

OpManager
Review:
“Great support from the vendor and the tool has come a
long way along the years. The vendor proactively listens to client
requests to ensure [the] tool is competitive and suits the needs of
clients. The modular nature of the tool means clients have the ability
to pay only for what is needed, making it very cost effective.”

Great
Monitoring Solution Overall And A Great Value:
Overall,
the product works great and is a very affordable and viable option for
most medium-small businesses. I am able to monitor all my servers and
network devices, and recently added NCM [Network Configuration Manager]
for managing configurations for our Cisco switches. There are a few
features that our old system had that this does not have, but nothing
deal-breaking. OpManager is a great solution for monitoring.”

A
Cost Effective Solution For Enterprise Network Monitoring:
“It
has been a great experience with OpManager by ManageEngine as the tool
is quite simple and works well with almost all our networking setup. We
have switches from HP, Palo Alto firewall and servers and a highly
expanded virtualized environment. The tool is able to gather real time
traffic information and gives clear metrics on the action required
items.”

OpManager: Inside the Customers’ Choice

As Gartner Peer Insights reviews attest, OpManager is an easy-to-use,
affordable, and dependable tool for proactively monitoring routers,
switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless LAN controllers, servers,
VMs, printers, storage devices, and anything else with an IP address and
a network connection.

OpManager provides around-the-clock network management and allows users
to gain complete control of their network environments. Faults can be
identified in real time and resolved before end users are affected.
OpManager highlights include:

Real-time network monitoring: Monitor network health and critical
metrics such as packet loss, latency, speed, errors, and discards, and
analyze performance bottlenecks using more than 2,000 built-in network
performance monitors.

Physical and virtual server monitoring: Monitor CPU, memory, and
disk utilization of Windows and Linux servers. Also monitor the
performance of hosts and VMs for VMware, Hyper-V, and Xen virtualization
platforms.

Proactive monitoring with multi-level thresholds: Proactively
monitor network performance with multi-level thresholds. For every
critical performance monitor, set multiple thresholds and get instant
alerts if any of those thresholds are breached.

Customizable dashboards: Assess default dashboards or create
dashboards using more than 200 available performance widgets, and view
the performance of the network at a glance.

WAN Link monitoring: Monitor key metrics such as latency, jitter,
round-trip time (RTT), and packet loss to eliminate network issues. View
hop-by-hop performance to find what’s causing latency and to fix it
quickly.

Affordable and easy to set up: OpManager requires no costly
consultation, training for installation, or user education. The
transparent, device-based pricing model keeps costs affordable and
predictable.
