LightPath Technologies Announced Mr. Mark Palvino as VP of Global Sales & Marketing

ORLANDO, FL / ACCESSWIRE / June 4, 2020 / LightPath Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:LPTH) (“LightPath,” the “Company,” or “we”), a leading vertically integrated global manufacturer, distributor and integrator of proprietary optical and infrared components and high-level assemblies, today announced that Mark Palvino has joined the Company as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, effective June 2, 2020.

Mark Palvino is a seasoned executive and former Senior Director of Sales at MKS Instruments, Inc. where he was responsible for the global sales of the Newport optical components business. He brings to LightPath over 25 years of sales leadership driving growth and influencing change, with a strategic focus on improving the customer experience, expanding brand awareness and enabling revenue generation activities. He has broad market experience selling into the automotive, aerospace, communications, industrial, life health sciences, and semiconductor industries.

Mr. Palvino holds a B.S. in Optics from the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Rochester. He has held leadership roles at other manufacturing companies including Ambrell Corporation, Optimax Systems, Inc. and Zygo Corporation.
