PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust Declares Second Quarter 2020 Dividend for Its Common Shares
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (NYSE: PMT) announced today that its Board of Trustees declared a cash dividend of $0.40 per common share of beneficial interest for the second quarter of 2020. This dividend will be paid on July 30, 2020, to common shareholders of record as of July 15, 2020.
President and CEO David Spector commented, “While we expect PMT’s run-rate quarterly GAAP earnings potential to exceed $0.40 per share, we seek to set a consistent dividend level for our common shares which, combined with the dividends for our preferred shares, reflects our expectations for PMT’s taxable income. Our expectations for taxable income in 2020 have increased since the first quarter, largely due to gains realized in the Interest Rate Sensitive Strategies segment.”
