Concurrency, Inc. Recognized as 2020 Microsoft Partner of the Year Finalist for Both Diversity & Inclusion Changemaker Award and AI & Machine Learning Award

BROOKFIELD, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Concurrency, Inc. today announced it has been named a finalist for two separate 2020 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards: Diversity and Inclusion Changemaker and AI and Machine Learning.

The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners, with honorees chosen from a set of more than 3,300 submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide.

The awards recognized Concurrency’s artificial intelligence work in the areas of machine learning and AI for Good, including a project that expands workplace opportunities for people with cognitive disabilities.

“In a time of global uncertainty, it’s incredibly gratifying to do work that positively impacts people’s everyday lives,” said James Savage, founder and president of Concurrency. “Both of these awards demonstrate the power of artificial intelligence to impact the greater good.”

Savage continued, “Only a fraction of job-seeking individuals with cognitive disabilities are employed. I commend our talented team as well as our outstanding client and community partners. People with disabilities are especially vulnerable to COVID-19 pressures, as Microsoft noted in its recent announcement of an initiative to help 25 million people worldwide acquire digital skills. We applaud that effort and are proud to be aligned with it.”

Concurrency’s Data & AI practice was among the first to harness the power of Microsoft Azure’s AI technologies to improve workplace experiences while also driving operational efficiencies.

“It is an honor to recognize the winners and finalists of the 2020 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards,” said Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft. “These partners go above and beyond, delivering timely solutions that solve the complex challenges that businesses around the world face – from communicating and collaborating virtually to helping customers realize their full potential with Azure cloud services, and beyond. I am proud to honor and congratulate each winner and finalist.”

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year.
