Malhar Kamdar joins Celonis as Chief Ecosystem Officer
Latest addition to executive team appointed to unlock step-change growth and transform Celonis’ ecosystem
MUNICH & NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BestTeamWins–Celonis, the market leader in AI-enhanced Process Mining and Process Excellence, today announces the latest addition to its executive team. Malhar Kamdar joins Celonis from Oracle on September 1, 2020 as Chief Ecosystem Officer to accelerate the transformation of a company that shows triple digit revenue growth rates year-on-year.
In today’s interconnected world, a robust and efficient partner and customer ecosystem is critical to maintaining and further accelerating business growth. In this new role, Kamdar will be responsible for all aspects of Celonis’ global ecosystem strategy and execution, including solutions, go-to-market and sales, to unleash the full potential of the company’s hypergrowth engine.
Kamdar will drive the rapid expansion of revenue, assets, and communities from a multifaceted ecosystem of business, technology, and academic partners and stakeholders. This includes empowering global and local consulting firms and systems integrators to accelerate their value proposition and enabling business process outsourcing (BPO) providers to optimize their operations. Kamdar will also establish new streams of revenue by partnering with major enterprise software and technology vendors, as well as private equity groups. In addition, he will focus on forging deeper academic alliances to drive innovation and rapidly scale the global Celonis community.
Alexander Rinke, Co-CEO and Co-founder of Celonis, said: “Malhar is a fantastic addition to the Celonis executive team. He has an outstanding track record of leading, transforming and growing international businesses and teams, and a rare entrepreneurial approach to accelerating value creation for customers and ecosystems through technology and business innovation. Malhar is key to driving our growth to the next level, as part of Celonis’ journey to become one of the world’s leading software companies.”
Kamdar joins from Oracle, where he was leading the International Consulting business as Senior Vice President for EMEA, APAC and Japan. He has transformed the organization to become a leading force in driving customer success through the adoption of applications and technology cloud solutions, engaging with global and local customers and ecosystem players across industries.
Kamdar commented: “Celonis’ world-leading process excellence platform to accelerate digital transformation in all industries is only one part of the success equation. To further drive non-linear growth requires a vibrant, broad base of ecosystem partners and stakeholders. I am convinced that Celonis and its ecosystem will fundamentally change the way organizations and people operate businesses. Beyond the unique technology and its unlimited potential, the most compelling reason for me to join Celonis is the strong focus on Sustainability and the huge emphasis on its corporate culture, the Celonis Way, to build persistent, long-term success.”
Kamdar is an alumnus of the London Business School and holds a MSc in Computer Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Prior to Oracle, he has held senior leadership roles at BEA Systems and HP. He is married and lives with his family in Switzerland.
