Commented Canada Homes’ President Lorne Leibel, who is a strong advocate of making higher education more affordable for students and their families: “While the past year has been very difficult for virtually everyone, students in particular continue to face immense challenges trying to focus on the future amidst an unprecedented amount of uncertainty. Continued Lorne Leibel: “On behalf of the entire Canada Homes team, I would like to congratulate Thuvaraga. We received many outstanding applications from students across the country, and the final decision was certainly not easy. However, after careful consideration we felt that Thuvaraga’s essay truly captured the essence of what the Canada Homes Scholarship is all about. We wish Thuvaraga the very best in her academic pursuits, and look forward to following her career with interest.”
