ATS Automation Becomes a BrainBox AI Master Systems Integrator Serving the Pacific Northwest
Pioneering AI technology deployed in CBRE-owned campus in Seattle continuing growth of autonomous buildings in the region
SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BrainBox AI, the premier provider of autonomous artificial intelligence (AI) technology for commercial real estate, today announces ATS Automation as a BrainBox AI Master Systems Integrator for the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and Alaska. ATS Automation can now bring the award-winning BrainBox AI technology to its blue-chip roster of client projects, which includes office towers, healthcare facilities, academic institutions, data centers, hotels, warehouses, and multifamily structures.
ATS Automation is currently deploying BrainBox AI’s technology to ensure like-new building operations at the Block 45 technology hub campus in Seattle’s South Union Lake area. Completed in 2014, Block 45 is a 317,000 ft² Class A, LEED Gold certified office building owned and operated by the CBRE Group, a leading commercial real estate services company. Initial project results regarding energy savings and carbon footprint reduction are expected by Summer 2021.
“Adding BrainBox AI to our toolkit makes sense for us at ATS Automation,” said Josh Cales, President of ATS Automation. “ATS is committed to helping our customers reduce energy consumption and enhance tenant comfort and the BrainBox AI solution offers that and more.”
The BrainBox AI technology leverages AI to improve building operational efficiency while reducing energy consumption and costs. Combining machine learning, cloud-based computing and self-directed decision-making, BrainBox AI enables the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system in a building to operate autonomously and in real-time, generating up to a 25% reduction in total energy costs, 20-40% reduction in carbon footprint and 60% increase in occupant comfort.
“BrainBox AI is thrilled to welcome ATS Automation as our Master Systems Integrator serving the Pacific Northwest,” said Rainer Wellige, Chief Revenue Officer at BrainBox AI. “Blending our AI expertise with ATS Automation’s smart building technologies and energy management capabilities is a textbook example of a win-win situation for commercial real estate owners and operators across the region.”
