Energy Worldnet Earns IACET Reaccreditation
DECATUR, TX / ACCESSWIRE / August 4, 2021 / ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN) has successfully completed its five-year audit and reaccreditation efforts with the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), continuing a 10-year relationship with the organization.
IACET’s mission is to improve the quality of continuing education and training worldwide through accreditation. It aims to advance the global workforce positively. EWN’s affiliation with IACET, a comprehensive leader in continuing education and training standards, dates back to 2011 when EWN achieved its initial Accredited Provider Status with the organization.
Dr. Karen LaMarsh, IACET’s Director of Accreditation and Training, remarked, ‘Energy Worldnet made quite an impression on our application review staff. Since EWN’s last reaccreditation five years ago, it is clear that EWN has maintained and built upon its high-quality educational programs. They are to be commended and congratulated.’
Since its initial accreditation, EWN has voluntarily held itself to IACET’s rigorous standards and conferred thousands of continuing education units (CEUs) to successful trainees in its growing list of instructor-led trainings. Additionally, EWN has contributed to IACET through pilot participation in the IACET Petroleum and Natural Gas (PNG) addendum program in 2019 and through a commitment by Dr. Matt Joiner, EWN’s Vice President of Education, who will serve as an IACET Commissioner through 2024.
Joiner and Crystal Stromberg, EWN’s Director of Education, spearheaded the organization’s reaccreditation efforts. Involved in the reaccreditation process was a comprehensive submittal and demonstration of EWN education division’s policies and procedures, internal compliance, and continuous improvement endeavors.
Geoff Isbell, President of Energy Worldnet, concluded, ‘We were prepared and have maintained all the processes associated with our accreditation with this prestigious organization. This milestone speaks to how it takes the entire team working together to be a true industry leader. That’s who EWN is.’
In 2021, ENERGY worldnet, Inc. celebrated its 27th anniversary of providing training, evaluations, records management, compliance management, and consulting services to the energy industry and beyond. Headquartered in Decatur, Texas, USA, EWN supports training and compliance requirements for clients around the globe.
