Quickswap (QUICK) is Now Live on Coinbase Pro

Trading to start on or after 9 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, Aug. 11, contingent on meeting liquidity conditions.

NEW YORK CITY, NY / ACCESSWIRE / August 11, 2021 / Quickswap (QUICK), an Ethereum token that powers the QuickSwap decentralized exchange, is now tradeable on Coinbase Pro. Inbound transfers of QUICK are already being accepted, with full trading set to start on or after 9 a.m. Pacific Time if liquidity conditions are met.

Coinbase Pro has a deliberative, multi-step process for listing new assets, the progression of which is dependent on meeting the platform’s metrics for a healthy market during each phase.

Once a sufficient supply of QUICK is established on Coinbase Pro, trading on its QUICK-USD order books will launch in three phases: post-only (customers can post limit orders but there will be no matches); limit-only (orders will start matching, but customers are unable to submit market orders); and finally, full trading, at which point all trading services including limit, market, and stop orders will be available.

The QuickSwap DEX runs on the Polygon Network, providing faster and cheaper transactions on Ethereum, allowing users to trade any ERC20 asset with near-zero gas costs. QuickSwap’s native governance token, QUICK, can be used to create and vote on proposals governing QuickSwap and can be staked to earn a portion of trading fees.

In exchange for users providing liquidity to facilitate token swaps, QuickSwap rewards them with a 0.3% transaction fee; which is divvied up among the liquidity providers (0.25%), the QUICK staking pool, Dragon’s Lair (0.04%) and with the remaining 0.01% going to QuickSwap’s treasury to fund its continued development.

QUICK has spiked nearly 30% on the news of its imminent addition to Coinbase Pro, its price hovering around $682 at the time of writing.

In addition to QUICK, Coinbase Pro is adding IOTX, ORN, TRIBE, and UST in the latest tranche of newly supported assets.
