Online Contest Commemorates Firm’s 75th Anniversary

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dallas-based Hilltop Securities Inc. (HilltopSecurities) is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year by donating $75,000 to support Texas public schools. On Oct. 5, 2021, World Teachers Day, HilltopSecurities is launching “The Hilltop Hunt,” an online treasure hunt for Texas public school educators that will give them the chance to win one of ten donations of $7,500 for their districts’ education foundations, as well as prizes for their classrooms.

“We’re proud of our legacy as one of the nation’s leading municipal investment banks with deep connections to the communities we serve across Texas,” said HilltopSecurities President and CEO Brad Winges. “A significant part of that legacy includes supporting educators and the students they serve. The Hilltop Hunt offers a fun way to engage with teachers throughout Texas while giving back to our public schools.”

The Hilltop Hunt is open to all Texas public school educators teaching grades K-8 and will take place online at HilltopHunt.com. From Oct. 5 to Oct. 22, participants will be able to log in to solve 10 riddles and earn entries into the final prize drawings. The riddles will involve publicly available facts about HilltopSecurities, the State of Texas, history, and public education. Teachers can play on their own or include their classes in the fun.

Ten Gold Prize and ten Silver Prize winners will be chosen by random drawing from all eligible entries. Gold Prize winners will receive a $7,500 donation to their school district’s education foundation and a pizza party for their homeroom class.
