The National Hispanic Medical Association Launches HispanicHealth.info and VaccinateForAll.org

The New Resources will Help Latinos Navigate the COVID-19 Vaccination Process and Other Health Concerns

WASHINGTON, DC / ACCESSWIRE / October 12, 2021 / The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) announced the launch of its two new websites, HispanicHealth.info and VaccinateForAll.org to help increase access and awareness about the vaccination process and other health-related issues impacting the Latino community.

HispanicHealth.info provides extensive, accessible bilingual resources to members of the Hispanic community and those who serve their healthcare needs. Resources are thoroughly vetted by the NHMA to ensure that the information is accurate, reliable, and relevant to improving the health of the community.

“Through the HispanicHealth.info portal, NHMA will decrease health disparities by providing bilingual health information from trustworthy sources for its networks of physicians, patients, and others in the Hispanic community to improve their health,” said NHMA President & CEO Elena V. Rios, MD, MSPH, FACP.

VaccinateForAll.org will help connect and support trusted leaders across the U.S. in serving the health of members of the Hispanic/Latino population around them. These connections between Hispanic patients and trusted community leaders are critical and necessary to overcome their unique barriers to vaccine access. It will provide targeted resources to best reach and support members of the Hispanic community in making the best vaccination decisions.

VaccineForAll.org is always looking to partner with organizations that support their shared mission to increase vaccine access and uptake in the Hispanic/Latino community.

Both websites provide vital information and resources about the COVID-19 vaccine to generate awareness and overcome hesitancy fueled by misinformation. The public will also find information about health concerns and disparities specifically relating to Hispanic people such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma and the effects of the pandemic on mental health and stress related concerns.
