TraceSafe Strengthens Privacy Program with GDPR Compliance; Ready to Expand Presence in Europe and Global Markets
Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – November 30, 2021) – Tracesafe Inc., (CSE: TSF) (“TraceSafe”) announced today that it has received attestation of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance after an independent audit, cementing its position as a leading privacy-first IoT platform for large-scale industrial and enterprise operations. With this attestation, TraceSafe has also covered the most comprehensive global regulatory frameworks including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), California’s Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in the United States, Australia’s Privacy Act and other key privacy regulations across the world.
The world’s most comprehensive legal framework in personal data management, GDPR attestation strengthens TraceSafe’s commitment to user privacy for its growing list of clients, especially in the European Union and the UK. Organizations in the region are looking for partners that are GDPR compliant to ensure information security and to mitigate the increased risks of fines and scrutiny by Data Protection Authorities.
“As a global company with customers worldwide, it is imperative that we continually invest in privacy and security. With GDPR compliance, we now have a robust IoT platform to serve customers across markets, especially Europe,” said Marcin Samiec, TraceSafe’s Chief Privacy Officer. “TraceSafe is trusted by some of the biggest enterprises in hospitality, manufacturing, and the public sector, making data privacy one of our biggest priorities. This attestation will instill further confidence among our partners, especially in a regulatory landscape that is growing increasingly complex and fraught with administrative guidelines.”
This latest attestation builds on TraceSafe’s commitment to user privacy and security, after recently receiving ISO 27001:2013 certification and becoming the first IoT company to be certified as part of Singapore’s Credence Data Trust Rating system pilot program.
