William Kivit Co-Authors a New Article

The professional automotive technician and entrepreneur collaborated with a freelance journalist to produce an essay dealing with some likely short and long-term developments in the automotive industry.
PARK RIDGE, IL / ACCESSWIRE / November 30, 2021 / When William Kivit was approached by freelance journalist Jamie Cartwright to lend his expertise to an essay predicting upcoming trends in the world of consumer vehicles, he agreed readily, eager to share his professional insights with the public. The article, which is titled William Kivit Discusses the Future of the Automotive Industry, was published on September 28, 2021 by an online periodical that concentrates on matters relating to business and technology.

At the outset of the essay, William addresses the subject of electric vehicles. “One of the biggest changes in the automotive industry is how it will be powered. Ten years ago, most cars ran off gasoline; now, many run on electricity. Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular, with companies such as Tesla and Toyota producing some best-selling models,” he writes, before explaining their rise in popularity. “Electric vehicles have environmental benefits over gasoline-powered cars as they produce zero emissions and contribute to a cleaner environment. They also offer more savings at the pump, with an average of $550 saved per month on fuel costs compared to gasoline-powered vehicles.”
Further along in the piece, William Kivit tackles the trend of automotive companies developing autonomous vehicles. “Driverless cars may seem like science fiction, but we’re getting closer and closer every year. The technology is already here today: Tesla’s AutoPilot feature is one example of how driver assistance can reduce accidents and help control the car when needed,” he explains, proceeding to outline their potential advantages. “Autonomous vehicles offer many benefits to society, including improved traffic safety and alleviating stress behind the wheel. They’re also better equipped to handle hazardous road conditions by sensors to detect things like slippery roads or obstacles.”
