Excella Awarded CIO-SP3 Small Business Contract

Award Provides For 10-year IDIQ to Delivery IT Services to the Federal Government

ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Excella, a pioneer in Agile technology solutions in the D.C. area, announced it was awarded the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3), Small Business Federal government-wide indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. Excella received the award under the Successful Offeror Award notification.

Through this contract, Excella was selected to provide a wide range of IT services spanning across ten task areas, including: IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare; Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support; Imaging; Outsourcing; IT Operations and Maintenance; Integration Services; Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance; Digital Government; Enterprise Resource Planning; and Software Development.

The contract ceiling is slated for $20 billion and is considered a “best-in-class” vehicle by OMB. It gives agencies great flexibility and performance-based features to save agencies both time and money.
