BTIG Adds Industry Veteran Carrie Ford to Strengthen Institutional Equities Business in Dallas

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BTIG announced today that Carrie Ford has joined the firm’s Institutional Equities team as a Managing Director. Ms. Ford will be based in the firm’s Dallas office and report to Richard J. Blank, Jr., Managing Director and Head of Global Equities, at BTIG.

Ms. Ford has more than 20 years of industry experience. Prior to BTIG, she spent nine years at Jefferies, where most recently she was a Senior Vice President within the Institutional Equities business in Dallas. Previously, Ms. Ford held a similar role at Lehman. Earlier in her career, she also spent several years on the buy side as the Head Trader at Regal Asset Management, and an Assistant Trader at Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss. Ms. Ford earned a BA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

At BTIG, Ms. Ford will be tasked with enhancing relationships with the firm’s existing equity-focused investors and identifying new opportunities for growth for BTIG’s Institutional Equities business throughout Dallas and the surrounding region. “We are thrilled to have Carrie join our Institutional Equities team in Dallas, where she has established significant relationships due to her impressive commitment to client success,” commented Mr. Blank. “Given her knowledge of the markets, and responsive, results-oriented approach to customer service, we believe that she will strengthen our capabilities and coverage team.
