Precision Ag Leader Taranis Hires New CEO to Lead Next Stage of Company Growth

WESTFIELD, Ind.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AI—Taranis, ag innovator and pioneer in precision scouting, today announced the appointment of Bar Veinstein as Chief Executive Officer. Veinstein most recently served as President of Ex Libris, a rapidly growing $200 million global SaaS business. Veinstein will leverage his experience to guide Taranis through its next phase of growth, as the company continues its mission to expand its precision scouting presence among retailers and growers across the U.S. Building off the momentum from the successful unveiling of its Westfield headquarters, Taranis serves over 19,000 customers and monitors over 20 million acres — a milestone that is poised to grow under Veinstein’s leadership.

Ofir Schlam, co-founder and current CEO, will stay in his role of President and continue to serve as a board member.

Veinstein joined Ex Libris in 2010 as senior vice president of cloud solutions to lead the transformation of Ex Libris’ products and business to SaaS. Before joining Ex Libris, Veinstein spent twelve years at NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE) in senior product management and marketing leadership roles, at the NICE Americas headquarters in Rutherford, New Jersey.
