Josh Judy’s Jukebox Culture Makes A Media Play From KY

LEXINGTON, KY / ACCESSWIRE / February 7, 2021 / Josh Judy (@x7judy) is an independent entrepreneur and founder of Jukebox Culture. Jukebox Culture is one of the many facets of his media/marketing company x7livex7live.com>. x7live was born in late 2015 and caters to business’/clients’ needs in web design, marketing, commercial videos, rebranding, wedding videography and more. The company has shot over 40+ business commercials, designed websites for clients, and helped achieved marketing goals for businesses all over the bluegrass area of Kentucky.

Josh Judy has always had a passion for music and pop culture and wanted to create his own “worldstar”-esque music & entertainment platform of his own. In early 2017, he came up with the name Jukebox Culture, and after several failed attempts to gain some momentum for the website, the brand started to gain traction via Instagram. @JukeboxCulture has steadily grown into a more popular page and encourages artists, influencers, and business owners of all levels to submit their best work for a chance to be featured.

Josh, or simply “Judy” as his friends call him, was networking in music before Jukebox was even officially created. In 2015, he was part of an event in Lexington, KY. It was there that he met soon to be big industry player Dre London, along with other members of his “soon to blow” management team. “Meeting them and watching how quickly they grew as a team inspired me tremendously. It pushed me further into believing that creating my own music outlet was possible. Being from Kentucky, the actual music scene was nonexistent at the time. The talent was always there, but we just didn’t get the exposure and do numbers like these other, bigger cities were doing. We simply didn’t have the same resources.” Since then, Judy has had some great opportunities to work and video with artists such as Wuntayk Timmy, Teddy Swims, Dreebo Squeeze, OBN Dev, Mykko Montana (with Gorilla Grind Films) & More.

Judy was also good friends with Stephon Dupree, who was managing a soon to blow platinum artist at the time out of Louisville, KY. “I watched him go from a local KY R&B singer to attending major label meetings within a short amount of time. It was amazing to see a rare thing like that happen here in KY and really gave perspective that, with the right people, you can do the unimaginable.”

More recently, Judy has had the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s top dogs, including interviewing Arnold Taylor (CEO of SCMG), Orlando McGhee (Head of Urban Music at ONErpm), and other various music / social media stars via his platform Jukebox Culture.

He attributes a lot of his success to his wife, Samantha Judy. Her support and encouragement throughout every level of his entrepreneurial journey has been invaluable.
