Central Valley Training Center Continues to Provide Top Quality Care Amid Nation Wide Re-Opening

As the state of California initiates re-opening phases, Central Valley Training Center is offering remote and alternative service options including, individual assessments, skills training, and COVID-19 management.

STOCKTON, CA / ACCESSWIRE / July 2, 2021 / In response to increased vaccination numbers and falling transmission rates, the state of California has officially re-opened its economy. After extensive government mandates and stay-at-home orders, individuals and businesses are now returning to a sense of normalcy. However, despite the new public health announcement, continued safety measures remain mandatory.

Central Valley Training Center is proud to offer alternative services to ensure the health and safety of both staff and program members. Following its initial re-opening, the center is committed to supporting individuals through remote skills training, the delivery of supplies, self-guided materials, and individualized assessments and program plans.

Additionally, as one of the first day programs to offer in-person services, they have implemented various incentives as a means of protecting all employees.

‘We are currently providing a monetary time off incentive and mileage reimbursement for staff members who are receiving the vaccine,’ states a representative of CVTC. ‘We are also performing weekly surveillance testing on twenty-five percent of the staff. While we encourage vaccination, it is not a requirement. However, we are taking all of the necessary precautions to mitigate and prevent the spread of the virus.’

All of CVTC’s day programs are open Monday to Friday from 9-3 and participants will need to be approved by working with their Regional Center Service Coordinator prior to returning.
