Karen Townsend Hired as CFO Amid Pivotal Company Expansion

SACRAMENTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Trifecta, the leading organic food delivery service in the United States, today announced the hiring of Karen Townsend, a highly experienced financial management executive, CFO, and CPA with a proven record of success in directing financial operations for high growth and emerging companies. The inaugural position for Trifecta comes with the intention of future innovation and expansion in both size and scale of the company.

Townsend joins Trifecta with over 20 years of experience in consumer products with deep financial expertise in direct-to-consumer, retail, and wholesale operations. Leading the financial operations of notable consumer products companies such as Sole Technology Inc. (“Etnies” brand), Brighton Collectibles, and Lakeshore Learning Materials, Townsend has amassed a portfolio of diverse experience and has driven numerous corporate initiatives. Throughout her career, Townsend has repeatedly instituted Fortune 500 best practices and has been the lead contributor in developing market-relevant financial strategies across a diverse set of emerging privately held and public consumer products companies. In her capacity as a longstanding CFO, Karen has led both domestic and global Finance and Accounting teams and has a strong reputation for cultivating and developing high-caliber teams.

Townsend holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from San Diego State University and is a Certified Public Accountant with the California Board of Accountancy.
