Karl Kime is the Subject of a New Interview

The veteran lawyer and experienced mediator sat down to discuss his views on practicing law, as well as his professional philosophy.

COEUR D’ALENE, ID / ACCESSWIRE / November 9, 2021 / Karl Kime, veteran lawyer and experienced mediator, announces that he is the subject of a new in-depth interview. The interview, which was conducted by an online periodical concentrating on matters of health and wellness, touches on topics ranging from the sources of his inspiration to his advice for young professionals just embarking on a career practicing law or mediation.

Early in the interview, answering a question about what inspires him, Karl replies, “I enjoy the world of ideas intensely and that’s what keeps me motivated in law. Also, in my non-law life, I gain inspiration from beauty and art. I’m a classical music freak. Sitting beside me right now, I have hundreds and hundreds of classical CDs that I’ve collected over the years,” he says, adding, “Of course, now CDs have gone the way of the Model T, but I still have them and listen to them. I just love music. It transports me.”

Further along in the piece, when asked what suggestions he has for young professionals just starting to practice law, Karl Kime answers, “My first suggestion would be don’t worry about the fact that you don’t know much about the law after graduating from law school. Understand that becoming a good lawyer is going to be a learning process. Fully throw yourself into that process without reservations or fears.” In an effort to assuage the potential doubts of young lawyers, Karl elaborates, “A lot of us who become lawyers were in the top of our classes at school and always did well in whatever we tried, but when we start to practice law, that may no longer hold true and we have to tolerate making mistakes. You have to make peace with that.”
