Nanotronics Appoints Dr. Jonathan Lee as Chief Scientific Officer

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ArtificialIntelligenceNanotronics, the factory control company, has appointed Dr. Jonathan Lee as Chief Scientific Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Dr. Lee will be responsible for leading Research and Development, software and hardware functions and staff, as well as the company’s approach to purpose-built AI systems for their global customer base. Jonathan’s previous title was Vice President of Research and Development.

Dr. Jonathan Lee joined Nanotronics in 2020 from the Security and Privacy group of Microsoft’s MSR Redmond Lab, where they focused on computational number theory and public key cryptography. They then developed new theoretical mechanisms helping to ease regulatory compliance in the cloud.

Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts, a Masters, and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, was a research fellow at Oxford, and has earned several impressive accolades throughout their life including a Gold Medal in the Romanian Master of Mathematics and the Silver Medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad.
