Photoroom For Shopify Comes To Android, Completing Its Cross-Platform E-Commerce Workflow

Mobile-first sellers can now create, optimize and publish complete Shopify product listings across Android, iOS and web, with results including Ameliora +30% conversions, Layer +50% sales and Palm Angels’ four-day capsule launch

Photoroom today announced the Android launch of Photoroom for Shopify, making the app available across Android, iOS and web for the first time. Mobile-first sellers can now build, edit and publish complete Shopify listings entirely from their phone, capturing products on mobile, refining on desktop, and managing everything from a single catalog. The launch marks a significant step in Photoroom’s evolution from AI-powered image editing toward connected e-commerce workflows, letting merchants go from product photo to published Shopify listing without leaving the app.

The workflow is designed to remove one of e-commerce’s most repetitive operational tasks: the fragmented process that currently forces sellers across four or more separate tools before a listing is ready to publish. Merchants can batch-edit up to 250 products at once, use AI Shot List and Listing Score, generate titles and SEO metadata and publish directly to Shopify in one click.

Dan Spooner, Product Lead at Photoroom, said: “For most independent retailers, creating product listings isn’t difficult because they can’t take a good photograph. It’s difficult because it’s one of the most repetitive parts of running an online business. Every product needs images, descriptions, organization and publishing across multiple channels. We’ve spent years helping merchants create better images. The next step is helping them build better listings.”

“The next step is helping them build better listings, and with today’s Android launch, that’s something any seller can now do entirely from their phone.”

The Android launch completes Photoroom’s cross-platform availability, giving mobile-first merchants full access wherever they run their business. Products can be captured on mobile, refined on desktop and managed across devices, with web, iOS and Android operating from a shared catalog engine and a single source of truth. Shopify is Photoroom’s first commerce platform connection and forms part of a broader roadmap to connect additional e-commerce platforms over time.

The launch builds on growing demand from retailers seeking enterprise-quality content production without enterprise-scale creative teams or budgets. Customers using Photoroom in their commerce workflows have already reported measurable results. This includes US workwear brand Ameliora which improved its conversion rate by 30%, UK retailer Layer which increased its online sales by 50%, and fashion retailer Palm Angels, which launched a full capsule collection in four days.

Photoroom for Shopify is available now on Android, iOS and web and can be found in the Shopify App Store as the Photoroom AI Listing Assistant.
